Our take
I bought these Olympic dumbbell handles to use with my existing weight plates. The handles are 20 inches long, which is standard, and the knurled grip provides decent traction. They are made of aluminum, so they are lightweight but feel sturdy. The 150 lb capacity is plenty for me. However, they come without collars, so you'll need to buy collars separately. The powder coating seems durable so far. The handles are easy to load and unload. My only issue is that the knurling is not very aggressive, so heavy weights might slip without collars. Overall, a good option for building custom dumbbells.
